What Epiphany means to me
Over the past 5 years a small group of wandering, discouraged, angry, and disillusioned members of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany has been transformed into a strong and vibrant congregation committed to sharing God’s grace with all. Although we have diverse beliefs in many areas, I believe that a common thread that has bound us together is the belief that God loves all His children. If God can share His grace with us, who are we to judge and condemn?
It’s been great to see our congregation welcome new members and to expand our focus on serving the less fortunate in our community. I am very proud of the fact that last year we gave 23 percent of our income to outreach in one form or another. This is in addition to the many hours our members have volunteered with the Community of Faith Food Bank.
As I look forward I see continued growth, and abundant opportunity to respond to God’s calling to use our time, talent, treasure to better serve God and make Jesus Christ known to the world.
